Understanding and Supporting All Students

Between 5-20% of all students have dyslexia or Specific Language Impairment, while approximately 10% have ADHD, 6% have dyscalculia, 15% have dysgraphia and 2.5% have autism, so even if you are a general education teacher, chances are you will have many of these students in your class. Join Board Certified Educational Therapist Diana Black Kennedy to do a deep dive into the big five: dyslexia and SLI, ADHD, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Autism. Gain insights into the red flags and common presentations seen in the classroom, the underlying cognitive processes and profiles, and practical and immediate ways to remediate, support and accommodate these neurodivergences so you can support all the students who walk in your classroom door.
